School of Coding & AI, a tech training powerhouse from Wolverhampton, is gearing up to launch a brand-new hub on Livery Street, Birmingham. Over the next three years, this expansion will bring more than 100 new jobs to the area. If you’re into tech, education, or both, this is the kind of news that’ll make you sit up and pay attention.
The School of Coding & AI
Since kicking off in 2017, the School of Coding & AI has been on a mission to boost digital literacy by teaming up with schools, universities, and businesses. They’ve been dishing out courses in everything from STEM and computer science to cutting-edge AI and cybersecurity. Now, they’re taking things to the next level by setting up shop in Birmingham’s bustling business district, right at Livery Place.
The new 12,000-square-foot facility is being built in collaboration with the University of Wolverhampton, a big player in cybersecurity research. It’s more than just a fancy new space; it’s a full-on tech training ground. Starting this January, around 300 students will dive into degree and higher education courses, all backed by a state-of-the-art AI learning lab. And here’s the exciting part—this is just the beginning. There are plans for five more campuses by 2025.
The Bigger Picture
Oh, and it’s not just the UK that’s getting a slice of the action. School of Coding & AI is also expanding overseas with new offices in Hyderabad and Chandigarh, India. UK students can even snag funded placements there, allowing them to experience life abroad while levelling up their software development skills.
