At the beginning of the week, Microsoft announced a new Azure Security Lab for cybersecurity professionals to take advantage of. So, what’s it all about?
Most importantly, it’s worth knowing that the environment is completely isolated from the main Azure framework. This effectively negates hacking attempts and provides optimal functionality. Microsoft’s internal team of cybersecurity experts will be able to work with researchers for the benefit of all.
Microsoft has boldly invited participants to come in and do their best attempts. The lab will not only allow them to study potential vulnerabilities in Azure, but also attempt to make full use of them. All done, of course, in a safe and controlled environment.

What the above does highlight is just how serious Organisations are now taking security.
